Class/workshop locations

I offer private classes in clients homes and group sessions at various locations. I am always looking for new locations to hold workshops either on an ongoing basis or a one time workshop. See each individual class for details. Starting in March, I will also be teaching a variety of classes in the Old Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago and at OMG Women's Healthcare in Hinsdale through Prenatal University.

Not your Mama's Childbirth Classes

Want to learn what childbirth education class is best suited for you? Didn't have time/cash for a complete childbirth education series? Thought about it too late and can't get in a class now? Or did you take a hospital based class and want more information? This is a fun/interactive new class. Not anything like your Mama's childbirth classes!! You may take either class or both classes.

Not Your Mama's Childbirth Early Pregnancy Class
We will cover TV myth vs real labor, options in childbirth education series, common discomforts in pregnancy and how to handle them, nutrition and exercise during pregnancy, stages of labor, writing an effective birth plan, the pros and cons of interventions and more!

Cost:

$20 for private in home class
$10 group class at my location

Not Your Mama's Childbirth Class Advanced
You do not need to have taken the basic class to take the advanced class. Learn how to help your baby get in the best possible position for labor and birth, breath work and relaxation, basic massage techniques, positions to speed labor, back labor information, comfort measures for labor
and more!

This is a custom class to fit your personal birthing needs.

Cost:

$50-$75 for private in home class depending on your location.
$40 group class at my location

See description above. Classes held privately either at your location or mine. After your deposit is made (or before if you prefer) we will schedule the date and time. My schedule is very flexible. Again, this is a deposit to hold your spot. The balance will be due at the time of your class. If you cancel and choose not to reschedule your class the deposit can not be returned.
